When Cascade Mountain opened in 1962, it looked much different than it does today. Boasting only one double chairlift and five rope tows, the resort was much smaller than the Cascade we all love today. Back in 1962, Cascade only had 8 runs, but if you look closely you can still find some of these trails on their map today. Lift ticket pricing also looked much different back in 1962 with a daily ticket only costing $5.00. Cascade will be approaching their 60th anniversary this season… I wonder if they have any celebrations planned…
