We also discuss two upcoming events Open Haugen and Take the Rake. Open Haugen is Trollhaugen's open house and hosts several activities to get you pumped up for the upcoming season.
Open Haugen will take place on October 3rd, 12:00 - 4:00 PM at Trollhaugen. We will be stopping by to catch some of the rail jam action and maybe take a chairlift ride or two. Be sure to say hi if you see us!
Take the Rake is a first-of-its-kind event where female park builders, diggers, and riders from all over will come to Trollhaugen to design and build a terrain park at Valhalla. The park will then be open to the public for riding. This event, the brainchild of Marsha Hovey - Trollhaugen's Marketing Director, will help drive awareness toward involving more women in an industry that males have historically driven.
This event will take place the last week of November, running into the first weekend in December. Be sure to keep an eye on Trollhaugen's social media pages for an official announcement coming in the next couple of weeks.
